3/4 day (7hr) ocean/reef fishing charter

Our 3/4 day (7hr) ocean/reef fishing charter will see you fishing at dawn and as the sun rises, then have you home by lunchtime (5am - 12 midday). It's the perfect option for those who are after a bit more fishing time, without having to put a whole day aside.

You can expect to fish depths from 15 - 65m.

Depending on the season, target fish may be; mackerel, mahi mahi, marlin, wahoo, snapper, cobia/black kingfish, jewfish, teraglin, tailor, flathead, tusk fish, tuna and more.

Just book your spot/s and we'll build the rest of the trip (9 maximum).

This trip is suitable for MOST people, however if this is your first time or your kids are aged 6-11 years, we must insist that you test your sea legs on a half day (5hr) trip before joining a longer one. Similarly, if you or anyone in your group is a person with a condition that may be exacerbated by being further offshore for a longer time, it is strongly recommended to opt for the 5 hour charter option. 

We supply quality Penn and Shimano rods and reels in both overhead and spin as well as left-handed outfits. On our overheads, we use no stretch, feel-every-bite, braided fishing line.

Our stable, comfortable 10m cougar catamaran has ample seating, a generous shade roof and is equipped with a highly sanitised toilet and hand washing facilities.

Our minimum age for kids for this trip is 12 years.

If you have kids aged 6+, they will love our 5 hour trip.

If you have children younger than 6 years who have been on boats in the ocean previously, they are welcome to join you on a whole boat/private charter. Please contact the office for more information if required.
